The Pencil

This is for those who have never heard my all time worst experience with my hearing! I mean, I have pretty funny moments, but this one has by far won!

So, I will type what I heard, then I will re-type what was actually said:

Zack: Do you have a pencil?
Missi: (grabs pencil) yup, here you go...
Zack: (looking at pencil, then at me) I have a pencil!
Missi: ok

moments later....
Zack: Do you have a pencil?
Missi: yes, here you go!
Zack: I don't need a pencil!

a few moments after that....
Zack: so do you have a pencil?
Missi: (a bit flustered by now) HERE!
Zack:.......ok, nevermind!

Now, that is what I heard... here is what was really said:

Zack: Do you have a name?
Missi: (grabs pencil) yup, here you go...
Zack: (looking at pencil, then at me) I have a pencil!
Missi: ok

moments later....
Zack: Do you have a name?
Missi: yes, here you go!
Zack: I don't need a pencil!

a few moments after that....
Zack: so, do you have a name?
Missi: (a bit flustered by now) HERE!
Zack:.......ok, nevermind!
